The idea of Natural Pure Essentials was born in 2008 after the birth of our 1st daughter Ambrosia. Like many parents, we recieved disposable diapers and baby skin care products at our baby's shower. Shortly after we began to use the disposable diapers, our daughter developed a persisent diaper rash and nothing we used could make the rash go away. We had to let her go bare bottom for a while to allow the rash to heal. We encountered a similar problem when she was about 3 weeks old. We started using Johnson and Johnson baby products on her and she broke out in a terrible rash. My husband and I were just puzzled as to why she was having reactions to products that so many moms have used for generations. We began to research the ingredients found in conventional baby care products, and were shocked to find that many baby products contain harsh and toxic chemicals, which, can irritate a baby's sensitive skin and are even hazardous to a baby's health. We were deeply dismayed that the products we had trusted to be safe to use on our baby was actually hazdarous to our baby's health.
We later learned that our daughter had eczema and so my husband and I began to search for baby care products that were free of chemicals, synthetic preservatives, fragrances and that would heal her skin. Finding 100% natural baby care products proved to be a hard task as there are tons of "So Called Natural" baby products that in truth contain only one or two natural ingredients and the rest chemicals.
In 2009, we officially opened our store, Natural Pure Essentials, a store where parents like ourselves can find effective 100% all natural products for their babies with sensitive skin, eczema or for parents interested in natural parenting. We have sampled many natural products, and have selected to carry only those that are made of the highest quality, all natural and safe.
